We drove down to State College for a little labor day getaway. We did not know what to expect with Emmy on her first long car ride, and first overnight away from home-but it went really well. Just a few little cry moments on the ride up. And she slept from 10:30 to 8 in the morning! It was a special time, and we got to see Micah and Jess with Kairi and their new little boy (Bron's brother and his wife and little ones). Emmy got spoiled with all the attention from Granddad and Gram.
We went straight to camp from church, and spent a few hours there. Emmy's first real experience with nature (and ours for a long time)! Bron had some shooting practice time while Emmy and I napped in the hammock.
Sadly, we only took pictures while at camp- we are new to this! Wanted to post a video of Bron dipping Emmylou's feet in the water, but I will have to wait till Bron is home to help me with that- I'm new to that too.
